Idle Chat: Where I read, When I read, How I read

Where I read, When I read, How I read.

So, Its been a long time since I had something to talk about, and since I haven't finished reading Immortal Rules yet, I might as well share the where's, when's, and how's in my reading.

Where I read

I could read anywhere, even in the most noisiest places. I read both paperbacks/hardbacks and using my e-reader. Since I bring either of the three most of the time, I would read everywhere as long as its comfortable, well lit, and spacious. I don't like reading when I'm all hot and sweaty (which is pretty hard since I live in a tropical country), but as long as I feel like it, I can read almost everywhere.

When I read

I read almost all the time, whenever I'm bored, inspired, or even tired. I could always squeeze a few minutes of my time to reading. Though I have limited free time now, with all my other responsibilities. I always find time to read. The times I don't have time to read would be when I'm at school, when I'm sick, or if I'm still hung over a book I've read recently.

How I read

I read in a fast manner, most people get shocked over how fast I could finish a book, just in a span of a week, (I can read 3 book or 2 in a week, in a busy schedule). Other than being a fast reader, I usually appreciate books that are engaging and interesting, if it turns out to lack the kind of character that could keep me reading, I could easily put it my to "to hold" list.

* * *

So yeah, those are the things about my reading, how about you? Where, when and how do YOU read?

Mini-Review: Cross my Heart by Katie Klein

Cross my Heart by Katie Klein (4.5 Stars)

Phew, gosh, I missed writing. Anyways, I've read this weeks ago, and I enjoyed it so much, so I decided to make a review for it, even if it is late.

Blurb from Goodreads:

True love can blossom in unexpected places. This is Jaden pretending not to notice. . . .

Jaden McEntyre and Parker Whalen are a wrong fit from the start. Jaden is driven and focused, Harvard Med School within reach. Parker has a past-a reputation-and the rumors about his mysterious habits abound. So there's no reason why, when they're assigned to work together on a project in English, they should discover they have anything in common, or even like each other, and they definitely shouldn't be falling in love.

As they bond over Edith Wharton's tragic novella, Ethan Frome, the "bad boy" vibe Parker plays begins to dissipate. Soon, Jaden finds herself shedding her own "good girl" image: sneaking around to be with him, confiding in him, and ultimately falling hard for this leather-wearing, motorcycle-driving loner who plays into the rebel stereotype.

Still, Jaden can't shake the feeling that there's more to Parker than he's letting on. He's hiding something from her, and discovering the truth means reconciling the Parker she's grown to love with the person he really is. Because it's possible that his life inside the classroom-everything Jaden knows-is one, massive lie.

Hiatus notice :/

Miss me? :D

Ohmigoodness!! I am sooo sorry! For those who were wondering why I suddenly became AWOL the past few days is because a lot of things from school came up, and I'd like to share it with you! :D

So, recently we've been having a lot of auditions and screenings for our group which is kinda like an art group. I was an officer (Its kinda bit of a shock honestly.) Thus, I've been late most of the time, and too tired to try to write a review.

Then every Saturday we have CAT Training, which is actually more fun than I thought it would be. A lot of busy advance reading (I'm kinda scared of Trig now, dang and I thought I wouldn't be encountering them at all in real life =.=) aaaaaand,

I've been kinda practicing on my editing style and other things. Here's some that I made:

Take note that I didn't own to photos that I used above! I was only playing around and trying to see if it would come out great, which is actually just an average for me.

So yeah, everything's going great right now, I think I'll be having a much more easier schedule so you would be hearing from me in a few days. And! I wanted to say that I miss reading all of your blogs. And I can't wait to read your latest reviews :D

Thanks! Love you all

~ Jules

Farewell GFC and Google Reader :(

Its one of the most saddest and irritating things that happened in the blogging world. GFC and Google reader will be no more. I'm very sad because of this because I'm starting to feel GFC fade out of existence. I would really appreciate it if you'd follow me via Bloglovin now, and maybe follow me VIA my e-mail.

Thank you for reading :)
