Book Review: Hopeless by Colleen Hoover

Hopeless by Colleen Hoover (4 stars)

I. Love. It! :D

"It is amazing, its emotional, its an adrenaline rush. Dang, its perfect."

Blurb from Goodreads: Sometimes discovering the truth can leave you more hopeless than believing the lies…
That’s what seventeen-year-old Sky realizes after she meets Dean Holder. A guy with a reputation that rivals her own and an uncanny ability to invoke feelings in her she’s never had before. He terrifies her and captivates her all in the span of just one encounter, and something about the way he makes her feel sparks buried memories from a past that she wishes could just stay buried.
Sky struggles to keep him at a distance knowing he’s nothing but trouble, but Holder insists on learning everything about her. After finally caving to his unwavering pursuit, Sky soon finds that Holder isn’t at all who he’s been claiming to be. Mini Review: Providence by Jamie McGuire

Providence by Jamie McGuire (2 Stars)

Very... very irritating week. :( (Make that a month since that this book is soooo way long from my read list). This would only be a very short review since that I won't say anything that is good at all. I just saw something a little nice to give it a two star rating.

Two words. COMPLETE DISSAPOINTMENT.

Stuggling with her father's death, Nina meets Jared Ryel, presumably by chance. However it soon becomes clear that he knows more about her than even close friends. When her father's former associates begin following her in the dark, Nina learns that her father was not the man she thought he was, but a thief who stole from demons. In searching for the truth behind her father's death, she stumbles upon something she never expected, and something Hell wants, that only she holds the key for. Jared risks everything to keep the women he was born to save, by sharing the secret he was sworn to protect.

Book Review: The Crown of Embers by Rae Carson

The Crown of Embers by Rae Carson (5 Stars)

I'm back!! :D
Finally I found the jive to start a review again. I hope this will make a good entry for February.

"The Crown of Embers is a mixture of fantasy and action and even a bit of love that definitely got me inspired"

Blurb in Goodreads: In the sequel to the acclaimed The Girl of Fire and Thorns, a seventeen-year-old princess turned war queen faces sorcery, adventure, untold power, and romance as she fulfills her epic destiny.
Elisa is the hero of her country. She led her people to victory against a terrifying enemy, and now she is their queen. But she is only seventeen years old. Her rivals may have simply retreated, choosing stealth over battle. And no one within her court trusts her-except Hector, the commander of the royal guard, and her companions. As the country begins to crumble beneath her and her enemies emerge from the shadows, Elisa will take another journey. With a one-eyed warrior, a loyal friend, an enemy defector, and the man she is falling in love with, Elisa crosses the ocean in search of the perilous, uncharted, and mythical source of the Godstone's power. That is not all she finds. A breathtaking, romantic, and dangerous second volume in the Fire and Thorns trilogy.
